What a Patient Advocate Costs

We publish our prices. Most advocates do not, and we think that is backwards. You should not have to book a sales call to find out whether you can afford help. Every figure below comes straight from our 2026 service agreement.

Two ways to start: Consult or evaluation

Everything begins with one of these. A monthly plan can only start afterwards, so you are choosing with real information rather than before it.

Consultation

$200

Up to 60 minutes on one specific problem, including a written Action Plan. Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. If a session runs past 60 minutes, the next block is billed as another session.

Consultation, evenings and weekends

$300

Before 9:00 a.m., after 5:00 p.m., or on a Saturday or Sunday. Same 60 minutes, same written Action Plan.

Consultation, federal holidays

$400

Subject to availability. Federal holiday work is not included in any monthly plan.

Comprehensive Evaluation

$600

An in-person or virtual visit anywhere in New York State, a full review of the patient's medical, physical and functional needs, a written Action Plan, and referrals to the programs and providers that fit. The right starting point when the situation is bigger than one problem.

Ongoing care management

Choose a level and change it month to month as needs change. Cancel any time. An engagement is up to 60 minutes of our time on your behalf in a day, Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. unless noted.

Maintenance, monthly

$200 a month

One engagement a month. Enough to keep an eye on a situation that is stable.

Maintenance, twice a month

$400 a month

Two engagements a month.

Maintenance, three times a month

$600 a month

Three engagements a month.

Maintenance, weekly

$800 a month

Up to one engagement each week.

Maintenance, twice a week

$1,600 a month

Up to two engagements each week.

Maintenance, three times a week

$2,400 A MONTH

Up to three engagements each week.

Sub-Acute

$4,000 a month

Up to one engagement every weekday. For a situation that needs daily attention, such as an active hospital stay or a rehab admission.

Acute

$6,000 a month

Up to one engagement every calendar day, seven days a week, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The level for a crisis.

Refundable service deposits

Required when a monthly plan begins. This is security, not a fee and not a prepayment. It is not applied to your monthly invoices, and it is returned after services end and final charges are settled.

Any Maintenance plan

$2,000

Monthly, twice a month, three times a month, weekly or twice a week.

Sub-Acute plan

$4,000

Acute plan

$6,000

This is private pay. We do not bill insurance for our own services, which is what lets us work only for you. Payment by check, ACH, money order, Zelle or credit card; credit card adds a 2.5% processing fee that the other methods avoid. Work beyond your plan, or outside its hours, is billed as an additional session at $200, $300 or $400 depending on time and day. If a consultation leads to individualized research, that is billed at $200 an hour and requires a $1,400 deposit. Unused minutes within an engagement do not roll over. We are not an emergency service and do not provide 24-hour response; in a medical or safety emergency, call 911. Figures are from our 2026 service agreement.

Not sure which one you need?

Call and describe the situation. We will tell you which starting point fits, and we will say plainly if we do not think you need us.
